Business and Finance Writers’ Markets

By on January 22nd, 2007

This is the first in our new writers’ market listing formats, where we’ll post markets weekly. On top of that, remember that we’ve decided to also list markets paying $.05 / word and up, instead of only $.10 / word and up now. I’m also going to try to post based on weekly “themes.” This week’s focus is on writing for business publications. Next week will likely be travel. You can comment to suggest themes that you’d like to see covered.

Markets for the week of January 22, 2007:

Corporate Report Wisconsin – $.22 / word

Workforce Magazine – $.75 – 1.50 / word

Northwest Florida’s Business Climate – $.12 / word for features ($.15 / word for research-heavy pieces)

Don’t forget to check out additional business and finance writers’ markets this week at our freelance writing forum and Myspace blog.
