		<description>It&#039;s not meant to be an all-out media database... just a cheap option to help writers properly address their queries.  I&#039;m a PR person myself, so I&#039;m familiar with Bacon&#039;s. They&#039;re great, but I&#039;ve always been partial to Burrelle&#039;s media database personally. :)</description>

I looked into mastheads.org, but found that the Writer&#039;s Market has more comprenhensive information (what types of stories they look for, rough pay scales, etc.), although it&#039;s not as up-to-date. Bacon&#039;s Media Source is the ultimate resource for PR professionals, because it lets you compile media lists, print mailing labels, etc.
