Updates and Other Lovely Things…

Just a few updates, things to read and think about, etc.

1. After a four day break (Mothers Day time and a hiking trip with the beau), I finally got back into the daily grind today, and posted some new freelance writing jobs.

2. If you haven’t noticed, I haven’t been posting writers markets in a while. That’s because I’ve been more focused on posting more direct freelance writing gigs, which are on their own blog now (in case you missed that) at AllFreelanceWritingJobs.com (at the link posted above).

3. What are your pet peeves as a writer? I certainly have my fair share. One of the big ones would be these crap auto-content generators, and the naive folks who think they’re a substitute for working with a writer or writing their own content. Here’s one I saw someone promoting today: Instant Article Wizard -  I certainly said my peace about it, and the idiots who use it thinking it’s actually even remotely legitimate on the thread. So you can read my post on why the Instant Article Wizard sucks for what it’s advertised to do over there instead of me reposting it all here.
