    Your 7/31 posting of Freelance Greeting Card writer requires you to buy a password before you can apply. The ads reads like you can just send them an email or visit the site but the info isn’t given. That’s shady.

    There’s nothing shady about the job itself. The password purchase has nothing to do with the individual job. It’s for the job site (Telecommuting Jobs I believe). Several job sites require memberships, and while I don’t post a lot of jobs from them, it’s still a resource some readers would find useful (whether they’re already a member of that site, or if they then decide to join). The password for that particular site is for a year’s membership to be able to post your own resume, apply for jobs through their site, etc.
