And when one of my clients balks at the writing of the blog I suggest they practice doing a daily entry for a week or so - of 300 - 500 words - in Word. However, blogging is still perceived as a "time sucking device" and many writers are afraid of the learning curve. I would advise serious authors to seek out someone who knows about blogging and help them get the techie side of things, from design to affilate programs, set up.
