New Newsletter and Six Figure Challenge Update

Just a quick update while I finish enjoying my holiday weekend…

All Freelance Writing Newsletter

I finally got around to setting up a newsletter option here at All Freelance Writing. If you had subscribed to the newsletter previously under the site’s old incarnation (SixFigureWriters.com), you were automatically imported and have the option of unsubscribing at any time.

If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter (which isn’t currently on any set schedule), there’s a subscription form at the top of one of the sidebars on the blog now.

The newsletter will serve as an RSS email subscription for posts that I hand-select to feature (so it won’t highlight things like this update post - only informative writing-related posts). It will also feature newsletter-only things such as some holiday features I plan to do (reviews of books, gift ideas for writers, etc.), offers for writers, writers’ markets that I come across, etc.

Six Figure Challenge Update

Someone emailed me to ask about the SFC, so here’s what’s happening on that front:

As you know, the SFW blog was changed to the All Freelance Writing blog a while back. In early 2008, I still plan to update my progress from the year (not coming anywhere near $100k with only devoting 10 hours most weeks max and focusing on my own sites, e-books, etc. - more about those things later), and I’ll be inviting any of the other members that I can reach to come by and talk about their progress, what worked for them, what didn’t, and what they want to change in 2008.
