Update on My Problems with Ezine Articles

By on January 22nd, 2008

Because I always try to be fair and update when people work to correct mistakes if I’ve talked about problems with them publicly, I’m going to share a note I received (yesterday I believe) from Christopher Knight of EzineArticles:

“Sorry to hear that we at EzineArticles failed you.

I know we’ve lost you, but I wanted you to know that our entire editorial team has read your blog entry (15 editors) and we’ve set a goal to lower our total editor error rate from 4% to .01% this quarter.

It’s true, we have many newbies on our team and we grew too fast… but I can tell you that delivering a consistent editorial review process is very important to us and it’s something we’ll be giving a lot of attention to this year.”

While I don’t have any intention of using the service again in the near future (perhaps I’ll reconsider when they’ve had time to clean up the issues a bit), I do want to applaud Chris for acknowledging the issue and making some attempt to address it. :)
