I spent a lot of last year reading other blogs & sites, moaning about my poor financial situation, watching other people progress towards their dreams, thinking about what I wanted to do, but not doing it. This year, I just put my head down and started working, started trying, started doing. Well one of the things I told myself this year was ‘more action, less thinking’. I spent a lot of last year reading other blogs & sites, moaning about my poor financial situation, watching other people progress towards their dreams, thinking about what I wanted to do, but not doing it.

This year, I just put my head down and started working, started trying, started doing.

It’s been hard work, but I’m happy I’m taking action (that was a major problem with me), and for the results I’m getting in return.

My web writing goals have stayed the same, no progress, but I haven't really pushed, so I am not complaining. On a happy note, I have made some progress on my blog which took up most of my time in Jan., so...it hasn't been all bad. I actually interviewed with a big PR firm here on Tuesday. It was for a web editor position working from home. There are a few other duties involved as well but it pays extremely well. I don't expect to get the job (I haven't heard back yet) but I feel good that I actually got an interview.
