I completely understand that many established writers dislike the freelance bidding sites. There are a ton of unreasonably priced projects posted on them, without a doubt. But I have to say that there ARE some very fair buyers on these sites and that I was hired by my best client (http://www.destroydebt.com and http://www.creditorweb.com) originally through one of the freelance sites and now? The money I earn working on those sites alone is more than most people make at a full time job each month, working 40 hours a week... and it takes me less than 40 hours a month to complete the assignments.
