Hi Jenn,

First, this is a great website. I love reading your blogs. They are so more useful than some of the others.

My dream writing job is to write for a non profit or not for profit org. I've taken a step toward that today, as a matter of fact. I've applied for a marketing internship with a small center in GA. (I live in FL.)

If I get this internship, I will have to give up my well paid with full benefits corp. job and work for 4 months on $8/hour. But it is a concrete goal toward my dream job.

I'd like to hear how some of the other posters make their income freelancing. What sites do they use for work? How steady is the work? There are so many freelancing websites out there.

Thanks. Keep bloggin'!

I'd love to earn all my income from my own blogs. I have three now and don't earn anything but I am still at it.

I have started doing some paid posts on a couple of them. So while many frown on that type of thing, it is generating a little income for me at least.

Until I can really get rolling (assuming that I can) I will just continue freelancing. I do pretty well with that.

Hi Jenn

I'm an artist. I write too. I ultimately want to move away from freelance writing and make money off my own writing (and other creative work) online - some residual income would be cool.

How I'm doing to get there? Well, I plan to stick with the online freelance writing for now as I'm new to it and the money's coming in handy. However, I've also been setting up and populating a couple of sites - there are a couple of ebooks in the pipeline, too.

take care and good luck...

A dream job for me would be to make money writing. I would like to be a published author but as I get into blogging more and more, just making actual money is my current goal.
