Give Your Readers $10 Off the Web Writer’s Guide E-book

By on December 23rd, 2008

Given that over 95% of my e-book sales have come directly through me (meaning not through affiliates), I decided to cancel the affiliate program. It seemed silly to have Clickbank taking $4 out of each of my own sales, when it was only listed there for affiliates’-sake. I’ve gone back to offering the e-book directly through E-junkie.

The benefit of doing this is that I can now use their discount code feature again.

I mentioned previously that I’m planning to do a guest post blog tour early in the New Year to help promote the e-book. I’ve decided to give a custom $10 coupon code to any blog hosting one of thos guest posts, which will be valid for their readers for a month. In other words, if you run a Web writing / freelance writing blog, and you’re willing to publish a guest post from me, I’ll include a $10 off discount code in that post for your readers to use if they order the e-book that month (meaning they’ll get it for $27 instead of the regular $37).

The blogs do have to be highly relevant to Web writing and / or freelance writing. I’m planning to do these guest posts over a 1-2 week period, with one post going up each day. If you run a blog in the niche, and you’re interested in having your blog be one of the tour stops, please contact me at jenn(at)allfreelancewriting(dot)com (or just leave a comment here).

    Hello Jenn,

I’d love to have you guest post at my blog, Adventures in Freelancing, and I’m sure my readers would appreciate the discount. Let’s talk.

  7. Thanks Lillie, Deborah, and Mary for helping me kick things off. I’m going to work probably tomorrow on a list of post ideas. I’ll send them over for you each to pick from, unless you have ideas of your own. I’ll also try to pick a timeframe for the guest posts and run that by you as well.
