UPDATE: I found someone for the interview. Thanks!
I’m in the process of putting together a post series here for AFW readers, where I’ll be picking the brains of successful folks in various sectors of the writing profession (things you may do as a freelancer, or projects you may want to pursue in the bigger picture).
I’m still reaching out to some of my top picks, but here are some of the topics we’ll talk about if I can find people for each:
1. Screenwriting (for TV and films)
2. Novel Writing
3. Non-Fiction Book Writing
4. Playwriting (this one’s most up in the air)
5. Freelance Magazine Writing
6. Business / Corporate Writing
7. Blogging
The one topic where I don’t have someone specific in mind to nag is freelance magazine writing. So I’d like to open it up to readers.
I’m ideally looking for someone who’s been published in numerous magazines over the years, preferably with experience in both commercial and trade publications.
I only need one person for this series (although others are always welcome to contribute guest posts or take part in other interviews here if there’s something they’d like to share). If you, or someone you know, fits the bill you can contact me at jenn@allfreelancewriting.com. I’ll note here when the interview spot is full.
Also, feel free to leave a comment here with suggestions for other types of writing you’d like me to consider adding to the list.
Thanks!
