Great post!I love to help people, but what I find is that a lot of people just starting out want all the answers. They want to know precisely where they can go to find writing jobs, precisely what to say to get hired, precisely what to charge, etc. all without spending much time at all learning about the business on their own. I can point you in the right direction, but I'm not turning around to walk the road with you. The harsh truth is the more hand-holding you need to get started at freelance writing, the less likely it is that you'll be successful at it.
