Jessica – When I was writing that, I didn’t realize the list was going to be as long as it was. But roles just kept flowing out. At the end, I was like “Damn! – Maybe I need a raise!” lol It’s insane how much we really do as writers, and how little credit we sometimes give ourselves.

Great piece! Love the part about the miracle worker. At times, I think why is my client talking to me about this. Now I understand a bit better why and how to apply it into my work for that client.

The worst part is all the writers that could be making more at so many of these horrendous, slave wage websites, such as Digital Point or Wicked Fire.

Certainly a lot of them are charging the minimum because they’d get laughed at if they tried to charge anything else. But there are some that blow me away with their talent. All I can ask them is why they’ve decided to settle for less. Often they didn’t realize there was anything more, so I point them over here for a place to get started.
