In the test I have up, I made changes. In the newer version, you don't have to add any special categories, and the "sticky" spot will show the latest sticky post if you have one, or just the latest regular post if you don't use stickies (rather than being forced to). I'm not releasing that version publicly until I have time to make some visual changes too, but if you'd like it, I can email the .zip to you. Not a problem Jessie. :)
