Need Help Setting Up Your WordPress Blog? Here You Go

By on August 25th, 2009

QueryFreeFreelancer.com reader, Kathleen Roberts, asked a question on that blog about setting up an add-on domain in her Web hosting account and installing WordPress. I’ve put together a tutorial to walk her through it, and you can find it here: How to Setup a Domain and WordPress Blog Using Cpanel Hosting.

The tutorial focuses on GoDaddy for the domain registration and HostGator for the Web hosting / wordpress installation. But the installation instructions will work for any hosting account that runs with a Cpanel admin interface and that has Fantastico installed (so you don’t have to install WordPress manually).

If you’ve been wanting to setup a WordPress blog on your hosting account, but weren’t sure where to start, give it a read.
