30 Day Marketing Bootcamp for Freelance Writers – Day 25

By on October 12th, 2009

Over the last three days of this marketing bootcamp you should have completed the main content area of your larger e-book (which you’ll sell as a new income stream as well as using it as a part of your writer platform). Today we’re simply going to pick up where we left off, and it’s how we’ll spend the rest of our bootcamp.

Exercises

  1. Write the introduction to your e-book. Now that you’ve written the content you know exactly what you’re introducing (why we don’t want to write the introduction first). This should be about a page.
  2. Write the conclusion of your e-book. I sometimes like to write this as more of a personalized note or letter from the author, but you can stick to the tone and flow of your main body content if you prefer. This doesn’t need to be longer than a half of a page to a page.
  3. If your e-book will need any addenda (such as worksheets or templates) create these now and make sure they’re properly referenced within the body text.

Tomorrow we’ll come back to edit and fine-tune the content.
