Gig scoring tip of the day: Make sure you follow the directions in the gig ad to a T. If they want you to send links to clips–send links to clips. If they want you to send PDFs for clips–send PDFs for clips. If they want you to jump up and down three times before you hit the send button–just do it, no one’s looking except your cat and he’ll never tell anyone. Remember, your response to the ad is the first test you must pass before getting that gig. Read the instructions and follow them carefully so you don’t lose out on gigs for something as silly as ignoring directions.
Special thanks to freelance writer Anne Morgan for emailing me a few job leads. Don’t tell Jenn, she’ll think I outsourced the gig ;-P
