The 30 Day Marketing Boot Camp for Freelance Writers is an e-book based on a blog series tied to my upcoming nonfiction book, The Query-Free Freelancer. It’s designed to serve as a quick-start guide to building your writer platform and it takes you through several major projects including:
- Launching a simple professional website
- Creating and releasing your first freebie e-book or report
- Initiating not one, but two, virtual blog tours
- Writing and releasing your first paid e-book.
This is an aggressive plan to get you moving in the right direction. You’ll lay a foundation quickly and build on that by continuing some of the less intense ongoing tactics offered.
Why Buy the E-book?
If this content is already available on the blog, why should you buy the e-book? The e-book is a more up-to-date version (approximately a year newer), has updated and re-edited information and resources, old recommendations removed when they’re no longer valid, and a better flow to the information out of blog format. Additionally you’ll get four new free resources included with the e-book:
- A blog launch checklist
- A virtual blog tour planner
- A platform-building plan outline
- An at-a-glance boot camp calendar
If you’re ready to start building an effective writer platform to help clients find you, let this e-book be your guide. You can get it today for just $9.97! Just click the “Buy Now” button below to pay via Paypal, credit card, or electronic check (note that digital downloads won’t be sent for e-check payments until the payments clear).

Would this e-book be suitable for fiction writers?
This e-book is specifically for freelancer writers, but most of the information would apply to just about any kind of writer or other independent professional. To give you a better idea, it talks about how to set up your own simple professional website if you don’t have one yet (similar to an author website — I suggest looking at my series on author websites at http://AllIndiePublishing.com as well for more information about what makes a good author website). It also goes into virtual blog tours — something both nonfiction and fiction writers can do. And it covers writing short e-books for both marketing purposes (a free one) and for an additional income stream. Now those are “information product” traditional e-books, but fiction authors can use them just as much as freelance writers (for example a short nonfiction e-book about how to conduct research in your genre of choice).
The e-book is based on a blog series here. It was simply cleaned up a bit and I added some new resources. So I fully encourage you to look for the “30 Day Marketing Bootcamp” blog post series here on the blog for the basic information. Then if you decide it suits you and you want a more cohesive resource, the e-book might be the better fit. Or you’re very welcome to use the blog posts alone.

Having trouble purchasing your e-book special – puts me in an endless loop back to the purchase button!
I’ve never had that happen, and it looks on my end like your purchase went through fine. You should have received the download link via email from E-junkie after your purchase. If you didn’t, email me at jenn@allfreelancewriting.com (as I’m on vacation and not checking comments regularly), and I’ll have E-junkie send a fresh link.
The ad is still up for the 50% off sale (2 ads, actually), but the discount code no longer works. Are you able to honor it? Thanks
Can you tell me where you see the ad? I don’t see it live on the site. It’s possible that either there’s a template file I missed or that you’re seeing a cached version of the site from a previous visit you made (depending on your browser’s cache settings). I don’t see it on the home page, blog page, category pages, or individual post pages. But if it’s showing somewhere else, I’ll certainly take a look.
I see the ads, too. One at the top and one at the bottom of the page.
On what page though? If it’s on a post page, you’re probably seeing a cached version because your browser is showing you old code. If it’s on a different type of page, I need to know which one, so I can check the appropriate template files.
Okay. I was able to find it. It wasn’t displaying on the blog, but instead on a few internal pages. It has now been completely removed. If you see it anywhere else, do let me know.
For the two of you who found it and commented, I’m going to email you privately at the email addresses you used when commenting, and I’m going to comp you both a free copy.
UPDATE: I wasn’t able to email you privately with the files. I’m not on my home connection and I can’t seem to send attachments from my hotel. Matt, I just refunded your previous payment for the e-book. You should already have the files through E-junkie. Monique, I’m going to have E-junkie send you a free download link.
I hear you. I thought you’d see it being as I was commenting on the page I saw it on (this one). But I think you’re right — it must have been cached because I had to clear my history to even see your responses to our comments. Sorry about that.
Thank you for the refund on the ebook, too. You didn’t need to do that. It’s solid, and definitely worth more than $10.
I usually don’t have comments enabled on pages (only posts). So I assumed it was a comment on a post — whoops! That’s a downside of moderating and responding to comments in the admin area, especially on a mobile. I don’t get to see the front-end while I do that. It was a good catch though. I can’t believe I missed it. So thanks again. And no problem on the refund. Well-deserved.
That e-book is being edited and re-formatted now actually. When that’s finally finished, I’ll try to remember to send you a copy of the new version as well.
