I've been around the freelance writing block a time or two. But, I never could stick with it because I just couldn't find the right specialty and I never needed the money badly enough.

Now, both issues are resolved. I have a viable specialty that is the work I want to do, and I have to replace my husband's entire income and rebuild our savings within the next few years (the military accidentally cancelled our move after our stuff was shipped, then didn't compensate us for living in hotels for a good part of a year…so we had to drain our savings).
