When we're self-employed, there are a lot of things we have to take care of which don't directly lead to income. And one way we can take care of those tasks while maximizing billable hours to is hire an assistant.
I'm prepping now to bring in a family member as a virtual assistant, at least for a trial run to see how things work out. I've been wanting to hire someone to help out for a while now, so I'm looking forward to it. I'll have her mostly focus on my smaller websites so I can grow them while focusing on my clients and main sites.
Do you use a virtual assistant of some sort? Where did you find them? What kinds of things do you have them work on for you? And how has it helped your business so far?

Hello,
A while ago I was looking for a virtual assistant from India (I live in northern Europe), mainly because of the price differences here and there. I found through Google many sites and looked through them and decided to make a test job for one of the sites offering virtual assistants. I got three answers that were perfectly fine and the prices were good. BUT I didn't feel comfortable using the service, because I like to talk to assistant(s) face to face and be sure that they understand what needs to be done. So finally I opted for college student(s) back home to assist me.
