OfflineHello! I'm Emily and I recently found this site through some links on a forum. I haven't read too much yet but the information here is fantastic. A couple of months ago I was fired and needed a new job, so a friend suggested I try freelance writing. He directed me to some content farms, but it's becoming apparent that those just aren't enough for me to sustain myself. I want to make a living wage off of my writing and still have free time to relax.
I'm currently a college student with plans to become a web page programmer/designer. I love writing, but it isn't my focus in college. Is it realistic to try and make a living off of writing with only a basic college education on composition? I could really use some direction, but I still have a lot of blog posts to read here.
I'm thinking that I'll start a blog as a side project, but first I want to start content writing with a focus. I'm thinking about making my focus on video games since that's one of my favorite activities.
I'm very glad I found a website with so much good information and I hope I can put this to good use. Now I'm going to get back to reading the blog posts and see what I can learn. At the moment I have a nasty headache though, so we'll see.

I guess in this very field your qualifications or experience do not have substantial impact. The main is your performance. I mean your personal skills and character. Clients are usually more concerned with results but not with who was working with the order.
