OfflineWe've been having problems here lately with "subtle spammers." These are people who sign up for multiple accounts under different names and then post seemingly relevant comments in forum threads. They usually do this to aggressively self-promote later or get more backlinks in a signature when they add them.
And I've had enough of it.
The rule here is one account per person, period. If I find someone posting under multiple handles, pretending to be two different people, all accounts and posts related to that activity will be deleted at my discretion. If it continues further, your IP address will also be banned from future signups.
Keep it ethical please folks. You're here to network with other writers. Do it under your own name or your known pen name or usual handle. And only post from a single account.
Thank you.
Jenn
Good for you, Jenn. Spam is a royal pain, and worse is when they post banal comments that add nothing to the conversation.

OfflineDefinitely. I just can't believe people still assume they'll get away with it when they do it to troll or take part in scammy promotions.
