    Hey everyone!

I’m new to this group but I figured I’d take a shot in the dark and see if there are any other aspiring or newly self-published authors out there. Having just completed my first novel I was hoping to get a talk going about marketing strategies, sharing experiences of the process, pitfalls, or anything else that may come to mind. I have a background in all industries so I was able to do my own photography, source bargain artwork, and design my own marketing material. I imagine there are a lot of authors out there though who don’t have a background in website development. If anyone wants some advice or has a story to share about their road to self-publishing I’d love to hear it. I’m sure we’d all benefit from bouncing ideas off of one another.

I released a soundtrack of original music to go along with my novel’s theme and character exclusively on YouTube (for now since I can’t afford studio production at the moment). I thought it was a neat idea and haven’t found anyone else doing it. I’d love to hear your thoughts or impressions on both.

    Ciao,
    Kris Driver
