Previous guest on the All Freelance Writing blog, Virginia C. McGuire, is guest-teaching Anne Trubek’s course for writers in May.
About the Course
The course covers how to pitch and submit articles, op-eds, and essays to publications and it will feature:
Daily posts including sample pitches that sold;
Individual feedback on your pitches;
A Q&A with Brian Wolly, digital editor of Smithsonian.com;
Community discussions with other writers taking the course;
The cost of the course is $200 (in my opinion a real bargain given Virginia’s experience and the fact that you can easily earn that much and much more through a single assignment if the course helps you improve your pitches).
