Freelance Writing Jobs – Your “Get More Gigs” Tip of the Day
Stop trolling job boards for hours each week, and put that time to better use directly pitching your services. Have you seen a company website that could use a good edit? Pitch it (tactfully). Do you think a local company could benefit from a new white paper? Pitch it. Have an idea for an article for your favorite company’s email newsletter? Pitch that too! The best gigs are rarely advertised publicly. The client might not even realize they need to hire a writer or editor until you contact them. Get to it!
