Freelance Blog Writer - GIMP software experience
Date Added: 11/16/2020
Job Category: Blogging / Web Content Writing
Hiring Company: Blogger Boy
Local candidates only? No
Budget (per post / page / document): $25 - 50 (LOW PAY)
We're looking for freelance bloggers who know what it takes to write a sweet blog post, can work to a brief, have experience working in GIMP, and have a bit of character in their writing
Scratch that, we're looking for people with a shitload of character.
Our company, Blogger Boy, works with inbound marketing agencies across the US, Canada, and Australia, and we're growing quickly. So, we're looking to bring more freelance writers into our team to pump out some fun, engaging, original content on a regular basis.
Payment is set at 3c per word (USD), and the aim will be to have regular work for the same client, so you'll get into a solid swing which will speed up your process. To give you some context, our clients are asking for anywhere between 5 and 20 articles each month, usually 1500-3000 words.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
If you find yourself writing and researching for blog posts at the moment, and absolutely snoring at the repetitiveness of content in the top 10 search results, then you could well be a good fit.
We aim to write content that does all the stuff you expect (SEO keywords, appropriate headings and structure, SERP analysis etc etc etc), but is also actually interesting and fun to read.
If you'd consider yourself a bit of a comedian, then please get in touch.
In terms of experience etc, we're looking for writers with demonstrable experience using GIMP, as we have a specific upcoming project for a bunch of GIMP how-tos. There will be an opportunity for more work outside of this topic as well, but that's what we are looking for right now.
We're not looking for people who have a little experience in the tool, or who are hoping to get by simply researching topics and learning on the job. We need people who've used GIMP extensively and could write a guide to specific functions from the top of their head.
How to Apply
Just flick me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, maybe let me know a couple things about what you're up to currently, and fire through a couple of published posts, and we'll take it from there.

Note about rate range subscriptions: At All Freelance Writing, all gigs must at a minimum disclose a rate range. In most cases, this rate range is on a per-article basis. However, no pay structure fits every freelance writing job. Larger projects, such as white papers or book ghostwriting gigs, are permitted to use per-project rates instead. In those cases, you might receive occasional job links that pay lower than your chosen per-article rate on a word-by-word basis. But these projects tend to be outliers here.
Browse the freelance writing job board to find new freelance writing gigs. In addition to publishing ads submitted directly by clients, we also highlight third party ads so you find the best writing jobs all in one place.
Almost every job posted has a publicly-shared pay rate range, including all jobs posted directly by clients. If you see a freelance writing gig posted here without a pay range, it was hand-picked by me during curation, meaning I had reason to believe it might still be worth your while.
No need to even visit job listing pages to see if they can afford you. You can quickly scan by rates right from the main job board below, so you don't waste time reviewing gigs that don't meet your minimum freelance writing rates.

* All Freelance Writing's owner or representatives reserve the right to reject any freelance writing job ad for any reason. While this site does not place specific pay limits on gigs posted, we may delete job ads from companies the owner refuses to support (such as content mills, essay writing firms, or any client demanding writers submit custom unpaid samples to be considered for a freelance writing gig). Job postings dealing with hate, gambling, payday loans, drugs, alcohol, erotic content, or anything else deemed inappropriate for this site may also be rejected on a case-by-case basis.
