Job Description
Omniscient Digital is seeking a freelance writer with expertise in cybersecurity, third-party risk management, and attack surface management and threat intelligence. The writer will work on projects for the agency's B2B software company clients.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience writing about cybersecurity, risk management, data privacy, third-party risk, and DevSecOps
- Strong knowledge of data breaches, privacy regulations, and compliance frameworks (including SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CCPA)
- Ability to write about complex cybersecurity topics in a clear, engaging way for an audience of director-level security professionals and executives
- Experience writing for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of SEO
- Experience writing for both print and digital formats
- A recent portfolio with cybersecurity writing experience (3-5 sample articles published within the past 3 years; 2 must be relevant to cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance)
