Job Description
Digital marketing agency, Seer Interactive, is seeking a freelance technical content writer for blog posts, white papers, case studies, technical guides, and website copy for its clients.
Average content length is ~1000-1300 words. Projects are estimated at 4-5 hours, with pay at $112.40 / hour (capped at $500 per piece, with flexibility for larger assignments).
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience writing, preferably in technology-related fields (internet security, SaaS, observability, and/or digital systems a strong plus)
- Technical fluency and the ability to cover complex technical subject matter for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Experience using tools such as WordPress, Google Analytics, and Grammarly
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, technical writing, computer science or a related field preferred
- Background or certifications in cybersecurity, cloud computing, SaaS, or similar technical domains preferred
- Experience working as a freelancer or in an agency environment, managing multiple clients or projects simultaneously, preferred
