Job Description
RV Education is seeking a freelance financial aid writer to contribute content to BestColleges.com. Assignments will include blog posts and resource guides on topics such as saving for college, paying for a college education, college budgeting, financial aid applications, types of financial aid, student loan refinancing and consolidation, and related areas. More general higher education topics may also be assigned if desired.
Pay starts at $100 per 500 words.
Freelance writers should have a bachelor's degree or higher in areas such as higher education, business administration, and/or finance. Applicants should have at least 2 years of professional experience working in financial aid or a finance-related field. You should also have experience writing for websites and the ability to follow style guidelines. Familiarity with AP style is preferred.
