Job Description
IXL Learning is seeking a freelance English content writer for Rosetta Stone. This is a 6-month 1099 contract role with the possibility of an extension.
The writer will come up with scenarios and write engaging demonstration dialogues and passages for lessons. They will also write questions, answers, and explanations that follow the Rosetta Stone curriculum and style guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in English as a Second Language, Linguistics, Education, or a related field
- 2 years' experience in instructional design and curriculum development for adult second language acquisition
- Strong writing skills
- Experience in the hospitality or first responders fields
