Job Description
Grant Gurus is seeking a freelance grant writer for client grant writing projects.
The writer will research potential funding sources and grant opportunities for the organizations, then write persuasive grant proposals.
Applicants would also be required to edit these grant proposals, maintain records regarding submissions, and prepare financial reports that demonstrate the effective use of funds as required by funders.
Pay is $75-100 per hour.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in grant proposal writing with a successful history of securing funding
- Strong research skills to identify potential funding opportunities
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Familiarity with financial report writing and budget preparation for grant applications
- Knowledge of databases for tracking grand submissions and deadlines preferred
- Experience in strategic planning and program development a plus
