Job Description
Benzinga is looking for a freelance trending news writer to cover to cover financial topics and news targeting seasoned investors to casual traders.
They need a minimum of 10 articles per month, where the writer will pitch topics weekly to the lead editor. 24-48 hour turnaround times are required given the timely / news element of this role.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years' experience in financial journalism, news reporting, or a related field
- Understanding of financial markets, trends, and business news
- Ability to write under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of SEO and digital content best practices
- Familiar with trading, investment, and financial terminology
