Job Description

The Motley Fool is seeking a Contract AI Investing Content Writer for a remote U.S.-based role focused on reviewing, fact-checking, and improving investing news content. The work centers on interpreting company news events, adding short investor-focused context, and editing drafts for accuracy, clarity, and substance.

Pay is $45-$50 per hour.

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of financial concepts, terminology, and the broader financial landscape

- Experience in journalism, editing, or related work with solid newswriting and AP style skills

- Strong fact-checking and research ability

- Familiarity with CMS platforms and digital publishing tools

- Ability to add useful investor context rather than simply copyedit

- Understanding of LLMs and AI tools

- Availability for at least 15 hours per week
