Job Description
Wainscot Media is looking for a freelance magazine editor to develop local editorial content for community magazines in Morris County, New Jersey. The role includes finding story ideas, writing features, editing copy, and covering local people, businesses, schools, and events.
Pay is $1,200 per month.
Requirements:
- Residence in one of the covered New Jersey communities (Denville, Boonton, Mountain Lakes, and Boonton Township, NJ)
- 2+ years' feature writing or editing experience preferred
- Familiarity with the local area and community sources (schools, businesses, events, etc.)
- Ability to submit a resume and brief fit letter
