Job Description
Embarcadero Media Foundation is seeking a freelance food writer to contribute food features (800-1200 words) and blog posts (300-600 words).
Pay is $200 for a feature article or $250 for a set of three blogs.
Requirements:
- Degree in Journalism (or a related field)
- 1+ years' experience in professional reporting
- "Knowledge of the Peninsula's food scene (San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties, excluding San Jose)"
- Experience reporting on food or working in the food industry preferred
- Understanding of AP style guidelines
- Ability to commit to at least one feature or one set of three blogs each month
