Job Description
Therabody is hiring a remote contract technical writer to create and maintain product documentation and safety/compliance content for consumer wellness devices.
Pay is $55-75 / hr.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in technical writing
- Experience writing user manuals and safety documentation
- Experience with Class I or II medical devices, consumer electronics, or wellness / fitness tech products
- Familiarity with ISO 14971, IEC 62366, ANSI Z535 / ISO 7010
- Experience with structured authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or Oxygen XML
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, or a related field preferred
- STC (Society for Technical Communication) certification, or equivalent, preferred
