Fangers Inc.: An Anthology of Vampire Fiction

'Fangers Inc. An Anthology of Vampire Stories' is now accepting submissions for Volumes 4+

We ask for non-exclusive, one-time, worldwide rights to publish your work in paperback, digital and audiobook formats, and then to archive it indefinitely. We are currently paying GBP £0.01p per word, payable upon acceptance of your work.

No word limit, but we do publish collections of *short* stories, and these tend to be under 8,000 words per piece. Super-shorts and flash fictions are also welcome (under 1,000).

Our mission is to showcase and celebrate vampire, vampiric, vampirism & vampy short-fiction which is surprising and new. We love to be shocked (and horrified!) but to submit ‘traditional’ vampire fiction which is beautifully written may also win us over. We tend not to like ‘vampires floating through misty graveyards’ type fiction or anything that’s been ‘done to death’ (ahem). If you have any doubts about whether something is suitable, go ahead and send it anyway. No poetry and no partial novels. Your story must have a beginning, a middle and an end.

Flash Fiction Online

Flash Fiction Online publishes both literary and genre flash fiction of 500 to 1000 words. They accept multiple submissions, but not simultaneous submissions.

Freelance Mom

Freelance Mom is an online publication for professional mothers (though they accept submissions from dads too). The community looks for actionable advice and tips including a 20-30 minute action plan at the end. Articles run 900-1500 words and pay $75-100 each.
